All entry forms, signed personally by both partners with entry fee of $160.00 ($185.00 if you are doing bonus bucks)
MUST be at our office by NO LATER THAN 5:00pm, Thursday, September 9th, 2010. NO EXCEPTIONS !
NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted after September 9th, 2010 as the checks for all Regional Championships will be written by the National office the following Monday and I will need time to combine all the Mid-Atlantic division entries and send them to National office to insure you are entered.
IMPORTANT - The 100% “Bonus Big Bucks” optional payout fee of $25.00 MUST be included with your entry fee check if your team wishes to participate – Their will NOT be any bonus buck entries accepted the night before the tournament. This 100% payout will go to the top 3 finishing teams who participated in the pool at 50%, 30% and 20%.
Off Limits:
From Midnight, Sunday, October 3rd, 2010 to Midnight, Monday, October 11th, 2010. Waters included are ALL POOLS and connecting waters of the Kanawha and Ohio Rivers.
During the 2010 Fishers of Men divisional tournament season, anglers have noticed and lived by a different set of “Off Limits” rules than in years past. This year there was no off limits period prior to the Saturday events.
The change, the removal of the off limits period, has ONLY applied to the regular season divisional tournaments.
Regional Championship and National Championship “Off Limits” rules were never included in the change.
Rule #22 states “The Regional Championship Tournament will be a 2-day tournament. There will be 3 official practice days preceded by a 7 day off-limits period on the Regional Championship waters”. The definition of the term “off limits period”, however, is missing. When the “Off Limits Period” wording was removed from the divisional tournament season part of the rules, we inadvertently left the rules with no definition of the “Off Limits Period” described in rule 22.
The “Off Limits Period” for the 2010 Championship Season will be no different than it has been in past years.
Below is the “Off Limits” rule that will be in place for the 2010 EAST REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
THE TOURNAMENT WATERS SHALL BE OFF-LIMITS FOR 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE FIRST OFFICIAL PRACTICE DAY. TEAMS MAY NOT SOLICIT INFORMATION FROM ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN ON THE TOURNAMENT WATERS DURING THE OFF-LIMITS PERIOD. Teams may not have the assistance of any non-competitor for the purpose of locating or catching fish the official practice days or the competition days. (See exception for legal substitute in Rule 16) The use of electronic communication devices for the purpose of sharing fishing information during tournament hours is prohibited. Any competitor found guilty of violating the off limits period will have their catch disqualified and face a disciplinary hearing before being allowed to fish any more on the Trail. If either of the team members is in violation of the off limits rule, both members of that team will be disqualified.

**If you reserve your room before Sept. 21 and mention you are with Fishers of Men, your rate will be $79 per night plus tax. This hotel has boat trailer parking for 80-100 rigs with charging capability and 24 hour security. Boat parking will be assigned and will be first come first served based on when your reservation is made. The hotel breakfast will be served early to accommodate our hours.
