National Championships
WINTER HAVEN CHAIN OF LAKES
FEBRUARY 7th - 11th, 2006

The site of the 2005 National Championship was announced today as the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes. For fishing purposes as well as off-limits, this pertains to the NINE (9) bodies of water within this chain, all connected by canals. The National Championship is being hosted by Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, Florida. The official launch area will be the William G. Roe Ramps located on Lake Shipp. The Official Off-Limits Period will be Monday, January 23rd, 2006 up until the beginning of Official Practice which will be safelight, February 6th, 7th and 8th, 2006. Official Competition Dates are February 9-11, 2006, the Thursday and Friday for all teams, the Saturday for just the top 20% of field after the "cull" from the cumulative weight of the two previous days.

More Information will be posted on our website at a later date along with more specific details as they become available.

I need to hear from every team qualified for this event just as soon as possible to see who will be attending and who will not? The National office is considering whether or not to replace qualifiers from Regional Championships who cannot attend with the next highest finishers and we need to know what kind of numbers we are looking at? Points Champions would NOT be replaced and therefore the slot would be lost for any division not sending the team who earned that.
