FIELD STAFF DISCOUNT PROGRAM

The Field Staff program is basically set-up for those individuals who would like to loyally support what The SFVU Business Group, as well as our great team of manufacturer’s stands for. You will receive some great discounted product, without having to make a long-term contracted commitment. At the field staff level, participation is controlled more by your desire than by program mandates and there are no administrative points to track. With that being said, unfortunately there are also no opportunities to make money or earn incentives other than discounts on product appropriate to the tier level at which you select to participate at. However, bi-annually, we review current field staff ranks and we promote those field staff members who demonstrate loyalty and promotional efforts, to our pro-staff ranks. In addition, since we have no way of gauging your present knowledge of all of our manufacturers and their product lines, we require you to purchase a small field staff intro pack relative to the discount tier level you select. This pack is a one-time purchase and offered at substantially lower cost than what your discount program would ever be able to match. Because of this, only one per applicant is available. The TEAM SFVU / FOM MEMBER DISCOUNT PROGRAM

The Team SFVU / FOM Member program has been specifically set-up for those individuals who are current active members of The Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail. As a business, we actively support, through time, effort and finances, this ministry and the awesome work it does through its tournament trail. Many of the staff involved with SFVU volunteer countless hours in support of the FOM mission and our corporate managerial leadership have made significant financial donations in support of FOM divisional and national operations. We believe the strength of this organization lies in the members, and for that reason, we developed this program to offer you special benefits and discounts not available anywhere else. For those active current members of FOMNTT who would like to loyally support what The SFVU Business Group as well as our great team of Christian manufacturer’s stands for, you are automatically offered a special discount program without having to make any long-term contracted commitment. Your participation is controlled more by your desire than by program mandates and there are no administrative points to track. With that being said, unfortunately there are also no opportunities for you to personally make money or earn incentives other than great discounts on product from our Christian manufacturers.

However, for every purchase you make through this program, SFVU will dedicate and donate 5% of the value of your purchase directly to your local Fishers of Men division.

The SFVU PRO-STAFF PROGRAM

The SFVU PRO-STAFF program has been primarily set-up for those individuals who are looking to enter into or advance in the fishing industry without leaving their current careers. Whether you are just a weekend angler who loves being involved in this sport or you are a full-time tournament participant wanting to move even further along in your career, this program has something for you, whether you fish locally, regionally or nationally. The SFVU PRO-STAFF program offers significant discounts on product and apparel as well as tournament cash incentives, annual free product allotments, annual cash stipends, free gas cards, boat and truck wraps, etc…

You can just imagine, the thousands of requests we get, all looking for the same thing; money, free product, free apparel, paid entry fees, free promotional consideration, etc… I think you get the picture. While nothing in life is truly free, we wanted to work out a program that would allow someone seriously interested in helping advance The SFVU Business Group name, our mission statement and all our represented manufacturers line of products, a venue to prove their worth and subsequently earn their way up an advancement ladder of position, prestige and better discounts along with other awesome rewards and cash bonuses. Let us be very clear, if you want something for nothing, SFVU and the manufacturers we represent will not be able to help you. Secondly, if you are just looking to jump from one product line this year to the next best deal next year, please do not proceed. All pro-staff members are legally contracted and sign a loyalty agreement which means you need to be serious about your role in this sport. Your attitude and how you carry and represent yourself is far more important to us than your fishing accomplishments. The promotion of The SFVU Business Group, our group of Flagship Dealers and our great team of manufacturers is critical to your success as a pro-staffer. As you will see, you are rewarded on a performance oriented basis and the more you do that directly relates to the advancement of SFVU and our manufacturers, the more you get.

As you can see from the research we hope you have completed so far, The SFVU Business Group is a multi diverse company with numerous divisions all dedicated to the advancement of the fishing industry, and as such, we have far more to offer than any one single line business towards the advancement of your career in this industry. A critical component of our success and image is reliant on supporting those recreational fisherman, tournament anglers and guides who carry themselves with the highest of integrity, steadfastness to their faith and who are always working for the betterment of the sport through active support of family, youth, the disadvantaged and conservation related activities. We also look for team players who can actively work in close coordination with other SFVU pro-staff members as well as be accountable to our Regional and National managers. In addition, as you have already determined, The SFVU Business Group is loyal to only one manufacturer per industry vertical so it only goes to say that we look for our pro-staff to work towards switching over and remaining loyal in use and promotion to these manufacturers, those being: Kistler Rods, Solar Bat Sunglasses, All Terrain Jigs, Mizmo Tubes, McCoy Line and Braid, Penetrater Tungsten Weights, RoboWorm Hand Poured Soft Plastics,  Secret Weapon Spinnerbaits & Buzzbaits, JC’s Lures Blade Baits and Custom Hair Jigs, as well as Hooks from the any of the TTI – Blakemore Fishing Group which are Daiichi Bleeding Red, X-Point, Stand-Out Drop Shot or Tru-Turn. We realize there is an educational component to becoming comfortable with our complete line of offerings from all the above manufacturers so we offer two immediate ways to do this initially. Number one is the optional requirement to get a pro-staff starter kit that you can purchase at well below wholesale and well below your normal tier level discount that gives you a handpicked selection of models, colors and sizes of tackle from all our manufacturers. These kits feature the most commonly used lures across the US and guarantee you will get a better understanding of the quality and value of what you will be representing. Number two, in consideration of the potential cost to beginning the switch over of your tackle to our featured manufacturers, we offer any candidate, once selected as an official SFVU pro-staff member, an extra 10% off their authorized Tier Level discount during their 1st 60 days of activity to help accomplish this.

To be officially considered, you will need to provide our national management team as well as regional review staff with an online application, which can be submitted at http://www.sfvu.com/prostaff/newstaff.htm as well as a brief fishing resume/cover letter and one digital picture suitable for promotional purposes. Within that application, we will be asking for three (3) references with e-mails and phone numbers that can be easily reached to verify your potential, character and industry accomplishments, an overview to your knowledge of our manufacturers as well as details on the influence you have with independent tackle dealers within your immediate local area.

ALL POINTS ARE ACCUMLATIVE ANNUALLY and MUST BE RE-EARNED EACH YEAR

2 POINTS – For every NEW individual you drive to the www.sfvu.com website where they fill out the entry form for our monthly prize give-away of $200.00, and they specifically reference you as the reason for their visit.

5 POINTS – Purchase and Wear SFVU Apparel.

5 POINTS – Display SFVU stickers on boat and tow vehicle. (Provide picture as proof)

5 POINTS – Do seminars about SFVU / Featured Manufacturers at bass club meetings, expos or product shows.
Must provide name of club or venue along with complete contact information including street address, phone numbers and e-mails for point of contact such as club president or organizing sponsor so that your effort can be verified.

5 POINTS – Per each post, provide printed proof where you have posted on internet bulletin boards such as State Federation message boards, Bass Fishing Home Page, etc… testimonies where you have specifically promoted The SFVU Business Group.
 (50 points maximum annually unless any post contains 5 or more direct responses)

10 POINTS – In coordination with one of our Flagship Dealer partners, www.fishermensheaven.com, for every 200 Dollars worth of sales generated to Fishermen’s Heaven through a discount card program which will have a specific code dedicated just to you as an SFVU pro-staff. A maximum of 200 points can be earned in any one fiscal year through the card program for you as a SFVU Pro Staff. In addition, you will receive 5% cash bonus on every dollar you generate through this program.

10 POINTS - Act on behalf of The SFVU Business Group at a pre-approved local event, at an in-store promotion and/or sale while wearing SFVU apparel. (For each 8-hours dedicated)

15 POINTS – Per Article where you have personally written for Magazines, Newspapers or Internet sites (excluding message boards/blogs covered above) and specifically promoted The SFVU Business Group as well as our represented manufacturers products.

20 POINTS – Coordinate with our main National office to help out at Regional boat and tackle shows by helping with promotion and sales of SFVU / Featured Manufacturers product for participating dealers. (For each 8-hours dedicated)

25 POINTS – Per Personal Appearance on TV or Radio where you have specifically promoted The SFVU Business Group in addition to our represented manufacturers products. Must be wearing SFVU apparel.

25 POINTS – Provide and facilitate a guided trip where directed and requested by SFVU corporate staff for entertainment, reward, media or product development and testing evaluation purposes. MUST provide digital pictures as well as completed signed feedback forms.

30 POINTS – A one-time award of points for each NEW DEALER account you help establish for SFVU. Account is considered yours and officially open once they place AND pay for first order through your SFVU AOF.

35 POINTS – Donate and conduct a guided trip for Fishing Dreams Unlimited’s annual fundraising give-away, the non-profit charitable giving foundation of SFVU. MUST provide digital pictures of awardee with you on trip as well as completed signed feedback form.

Annual Advancement would include 10 Bonus Points for every additional year beyond year 1 of loyal servitude to the SFVU Pro-Staff program.  All other subsequent advancement based on above points, if documentation provided by December 31st of that year to the VP of Pro-Staff Operations with review, verification and recommendation for advancement by Andy Lee, Corporate Senior Vice President, with final approval by The SFVU Business Group President for all Tier 7 Regional Position advancements and above.

Tournament Points

For any approved tournament that meets the following number of boats requirement AND where you provide picture proof of you wearing SFVU apparel and your boat and tow vehicle are featuring The SFVU Business Group official stickers or wraps AND you can provide documented proof of tournament standings showing your position of placement:

SFVU Pro-Staff Levels of Advancement and Incentive Program

TIER 1, 2, 3 & 4 are Reserved for our Field Staff and FOM Members Program

SFVU Pro-Staff program standards apply for one fiscal year starting January 1st and ending December 31st  - No “grandfathering in” allowed from previous years programs. Qualification from previous year will hold discount level awarded up to December 31st of following year only. SFVU Pro-Staff program can be changed bi-annually at the discretion of The SFVU Business Group management and all pro-staff members MUST make written declaration of desire to continue for the next year before March 1st via signed binding contractual letter of intent, countersigned by the SFVU VP of Operations as well as the President & CEO of The SFVU Business Group. It is the sole responsibility of the SFVU pro-staff member to produce all supporting documentation for their annual points review. SFVU Pro-Staff members who receive any cash and/or promotional product where value exceeds $600.00 will receive a 1099-Misc for that fiscal year. Any product awarded or purchased via pro-staff discount is to be used solely for personal use or demonstration – absolutely no selling of SFVU represented manufacturers product to any individual buyer is allowed by SFVU Pro-Staff.  Our flagship dealers and any of our 10 featured manufacturers have the right to request immediate dismissal of any individual, at any time, which is found not to meet the ethical standards required to be an effective pro staff representative. The SFVU Business Group has the right to null and void any contract of any pro-staff member where that individual is found to be in sponsorship, support or promotion of a competing company within the same industry vertical.

2008 SFVU PRO STAFF OPPORTUNITIES to EARN CASH

ACCOUNT STAFF REP PROGRAM:

In this program, for SFVU pro-staff members who are selected to participate, you will be given the right and responsibility to service select local dealer accounts utilizing the SFVU MFG REP system. All sales generated by your efforts will be rewarded with a cash bonus of 5% of paid invoices at wholesale plus POO cost. An additional 1% quarterly bonus will be awarded where you help dealers to meet goals per factory line.

FISHERMENS HEAVEN CARD PROGRAM:

In this program, for SFVU pro-staff members who are selected to participate, you will be given cards to hand out to your friends who fish, fellow club members, co-anglers, or at tournaments. This card will give the person possessing the card a disclosed discount for our manufacturers products purchased on-line through one of SFVU’s Flagship Dealers; www.FishermensHeaven.com. Each card you give out will have a unique non-descriptive code, specific to you, which allows the user to enter that coupon code, at the online checkout, to receive their discount. When the user enters your unique code, YOU will receive the credit, both in points as well as a 5% cash bonus.  Each month Fishermen’s Heaven staff will track the orders that were placed using this unique code system and a check will be issued to that corresponding SFVU pro staff member. It is critical to note that if a user of the card does not enter YOUR unique code at the time of purchase, which can only be done through the www.FishermensHeaven.com online store, they will NOT receive the discount amount on the card and YOU will NOT receive credit for the sale. Pro staff will NOT hand out cards while at any dealer, dealer’s shows or while in support of any function that directly or indirectly involves an SFVU dealer. Such action will result in immediate disciplinary action up to and/or including removal from the SFVU pro staff program.

TOURNAMENT TX INCENTIVE PROGRAM:

In this program, which is for all SFVU pro staff members at Tier 7 or above, your promotional efforts tied with your performance at approved tournaments will be rewarded with the following cash incentives in addition to your tournament earnings and points awards when any approved tournament that meets the following number of boats requirement AND where you provide picture proof of you wearing SFVU apparel and your boat and tow vehicle are featuring The SFVU Business Group official stickers or wraps AND you can provide documented proof of tournament standings showing your position of placement:

Any SFVU pro staff member at Tier 7 or above who wins an Angler of the Year Points Championship Title
Where the circuit had at least an average of 30 Boats through 4 Events – $100.00 One Time Cash Award
(Top 10% - $50.00 SFVU MSRP Gift Certificate)
Where the circuit had at least an average of 60 Boats through 4 Events – $200.00 One Time Cash Award
(Top 10% - $100.00 SFVU MSRP Gift Certificate)
Where the circuit had at least an average of 90 Boats through 4 Events – $400.00 One Time Cash Award
